Comedian Julius Agwu and AY Makun At War Over $20k Debt

The beef in the entertainment industry in Nigeria has taken a new turn as two top comedians are at each others neck over an unpaid debt.



Ace comedian AY Makun and his best bud, Julius Agwu are no longer in talking terms according to reports reaching us. The ongoing issue has been the talk in the entertainment circle for a while tho it is only discussed in hush tones due to the active media in the country. However details about their little misunderstanding has been uncovered and it was revealed that a $20,000 loan that AY Makun gave his friend Julius Agwu has led to a huge rift between them and has even dragged their wives into the matter.



AY Makun is said to have borrowed Julius $20,000 in two installments through his wife, Mabel who gave it to Ibiere who in turn gave it to her husband, Julius Agwu.


Failure to pay the debt has led to exchange of words between the old friends who have even unfollowed each other on all social media and have even deleted photos of each other on their Instagram. Their spouses on the other hand who used to be best of friends no longer talk to each other, and give cold shoulder when they meet at events.


A new twist revealed that Julius Agwu was told by two different pastors who never met each other that the reason for his decline in the industry is cause his old pal has been using diabolical means to make him less prominent in the industry while his own reputation keeps climbing up. This has worsen their relationship and has caused worry for their associates who are scared of wadding into the matter for fear of being dragged into taking sides.
