78-year-old Bill Cosby Facing up to 30 years in Jail

Media reports have confirmed that popular American entertainer Bill Cosby will go to trial for sexual assualt.


This comes after almost 10 years after he was first accused of sexual misconduct.


A judge in Pennsylvania during a hearing on Tuesday, found enough evidence to proceed with a criminal trial. It’s not however not yet clear when his trial will begin.

Cosby is set to face 3 counts of felony indecent assault from a 2004 case involving Andrea Constand, an employee at his alma mater, Temple University.

She was the first of more than 50 women who have accused Cosby of sexual misconduct.

If convicted, Cosby could face up to 30 years of prison time.
