Cristiano Ronaldo Taunts Pique and Barcelona

Real Madrid striker Cristiano Ronaldo was flattered after Gerard Pique mimicked him when Barcelona celebrated their La Liga win and in reply has taunted them by saying they always talk about him even when they win.

Pique had first taunted the Portuguese football star by copying Ronaldo's pose from an infamous post match picture.

When Ronaldo was asked about pique in an interview with La Sezta's Jugones, he said;

' Even when they win a trophy they talk of Cristiano. Right or wrong they think of Cristiano and talk about me, but I have no problem with Pique.


Ronaldo was asked if he would swap a possible Champions League for the League and Copa del Rey double of Barcelona, and what he thought of losing the Golden Boot to Luis Suarez.

“If we win the Champions League it’s a lot more than Barca’s double. The Champions League is the dream. I’m telling you from the heart, I wouldn’t change,” he replied.


Ronaldo also said that while he was disappointed not to win the European Golden Shoe award, he felt that Luis Suarez was deserving.


The Barcelona striker scored a remarkable 40 league goals for the La Liga champions -- five more than rival Ronaldo, who won the prize last season.

"That is part of it, of course I am frustrated but I wasn't obsessed," he said. "I let things flow this year. Suarez played very well. He scored eight goals in two games. He had an excellent season and he deserved it."
