Legendary boxer, Muhammad Ali died on Friday at 74yrs of age after a brief illness.. Many did not know that the legend himself once paid a visit to Lagos, Nigeria four years after our independence. This photos were taken on June 2, 1964 during his three day tour in the country between, June 1-3rd.

He was on tour in Africa while trying to reconnect with his roots after discovering that paternal grandmother was a native of Madagascar.
