Runtown Label Boss Revealed as Ex-Con [PICS]

In a series of posts on Twitter seemingly sponsored by those siding with Runtown in the escalating battle with his label, there is some previously unknown information about the past life of his record label boss.

If information obtained from the US Federal Bureau of Prisons is anything to go by, then Okwudili Umenyiora, CEO of Eric Manny Records likely did time in the US for fraud.

Some though have said it is unfair to bring in the businessman’s past into a matter that has nothing to do with it, and many are lambasting Runtown for fighting dirty.
But insiders say the artiste has been pushed to the wall. He has already alleged threats to his life.

Okwudili Umenyiora, who also owns Dilly Motors, allegedly faced trial in Atlanta as Senior U.S. District Judge Charles Butler Jr. presided over his case.

He reportedly served time in jail and was released in September 2006. Typing in his prison registration number 08863-003 still brings out his details when searched on the official Federal Bureau of Prisons website.

Runtown has declined to comment on the issue on advise of his lawyers.
