27yr old Jerome Boateng, Germany’s centre back who plays for Bayern Munich has been a butt of jokes after handling a ball inside the German box during the nervous match with Italy on Saturday night.

Mesut Ozil had shot the Germans ahead of Italy in the 65th minute, but the penalty kick scored by Leonardo Bonucci put the Italians back in the game and made the outcome very uncertain.
