Nollywood Plagued By Poor Movie Location [PICS]
While other top movie industries around the world have evolved to creating studio sets for their movies. Their Nigerian counterparts are still stuck in the 20th century moving their cast and crews from one village to the other in the bid for a perfect location to fit the script and concept of the movie.
Nigerian actors have however started voicing out complains as they either find themselves in unfavorable environments or they get harassed by land owners/grabbers popularly known as 'Omo onile' in the western region of the country.
Two top acts in this sector recently took to their social media to complain about the poor state of a wooden bridge that was used to cross over to a movie location.
It looked too risky and deadly due to it's wobbly nature and ace actor, Adeniyi Johnson and actress Regina Chukwu didn't hide their fear tho they both claimed its all for the love of the job.
It begs the question on when Nollywood intends to leave behind this archaic concept and start thinking of creating its own studios like the way it's done by our closet competitors in Hollywood and Bollywood.
