‘When We Started, No One Knew’ – Mercy Aigbe’s Husband Pleads

Lanre Gentry continues to be vocal about his family troubles on social media, and this time, the hotelier is reminding Mercy Aigbe (and the world) about how they started.

In case you missed it, sources close to the relevant authorities told Punch Newspaper that the actress has dragged her husband to the Lagos Ministry of Women Affairs (LMWA) for investigation and prosecution over alleged battery and assault.

And this update came hours after a leaked radiology report revealed the actress suffered a fractured skull during the alleged altercation with her husband. Shortly after, Gentry insisted he never abused his wife and alleged that the battery photos making the rounds on social were part of the actress’ film project.

However, the actress took to her Instagram page yesterday to post a domestic violence awareness meme, stirring new convictions that she was truly a victim of domestic violence.

Now, it seems Gentry has run out of explanations and denials, because last night, he chose to remind folks who care to listen that he is still desperately in love with Mercy Aigbe.
