Top 5 Nigerian Artistes In Desperate Need Of Hit Songs This 2018

While some such as Davido, Mayorkun, Reekado and Tiwa Savage seems to be hitting the high notes, some of their label mates have been lagging behind and will soon be forgotten if they don't drop a hit song this 2018.

1. Yemi Alade; Top of the chart is Mama Africa singer, who has lost touch with her Nigerian fans. She has been dropping shitty music with stupid titles, like her Tum Bum jam. Her lyrics game is wack and she can repeat a line 10 times in a song. She even sounds confused and clueless sometimes, where her chorus is the verse and the second verse is still part of the chorus.

2. Dremo; With a host of collabos and his popular cover for Panda, this lad had everything in him to succeed ahead of Mayorkun when they both joined DMW in 2016, but alas!, the moment he signed the dotted line, the world saw a very lazy Dremo.

Dremo refused to release songs and when he did his songs were like infertile sperm. A frustrated fan had to write a letter for him to up his game. Still no hits.

Well, he still has the option to beg Mayorkun to write songs for him else he becomes the next Ice Prince.

3. Dija; This shouldn't come as a surprise. Sometimes we truly wonder if Dija was the same artiste that made Olamide envious enough to sign his own female artiste(another failed experiment).

She has no hit, tho some will say she gave us Awww, but that was 3years ago. So what really happened?
She got married, had a child and attempted a comeback but hey, all her efforts were fruitless. She even dropped an album that no one has heard of. Maybe a collabo with Davido or Wizkid will bring back the spark, before they pack her out of Mavin.

4. Yung6ix; He is probably the most popular rapper without a hit song in the last 5years. More known for his flaunting of wealth than for his musical prowess. No award to show for all his years in the industry and his last hit was that song with Wizkid when he dropped his Superstar album in 2011 back in EME.

Hopefully his social media theatrics can still keep him in the spotlight.

5. Korede Bello; When Don Jazzy unveiled his three new signings in 2015, everybody was on Doro Mega Superstar vibe.

Korede Bello had the vocals and was meant to be the star feature of the trio. However he has not lived up to that standard and Reekado Banks has taken the mantle from him, reeking out the hits on a monthly bases.

The last we heard from Korede was 'Do Like That' and that was before his album which was full of dung.
