A MURDER AND A MOTIVE; The Movie

Hungry for a more audacious exciting mystery film? Then welcome “A MURDER AND A MOTIVE” ,which is soon to come under the directorial debut of Erick Somadina Igboanugo Didie ‘Erick S. I. Didie’. Erick who is also the Producer and writer delivers a sensational script revolving around a detective who investigates the death of a successful ceo Femi Thomas who had just returned to Nigeria from abroad. 

Femi Thomas calls his friends to celebrate with him at the club after winning a huge state contract. However, the man is gruesomely murdered at his home later that same night.

While the police rule out the case as impossible to solve, a super female detective investigates the case. The female detective quickly discovers that Femi Thomas’s relationship with his friends is a sweeping mystery of love, jealousy and betrayal. 

The detective then starts to piece together all the clues and eventually finds the truth about Femi Thomas’s death.

The film will see ensemble cast that includes Bimbo Ademoye, Kiki Omeili, Maurice Sam, Adelegan Rotimi, Chioma Nwosu, Lucy Ameh with guest appearance performances from Richard Mofe-Damijo, Nse Epe Ntim and many others.

The movie was originally due out in March but was pushed further to December 2023. 

Speaking about the movie, Erick S. I. Didie told us “It didn’t just feel right to start on a high level then deliver mediocre. Apart from the monetary difficulties, there were such beautiful religion and societal notes that needed to be told. Trust me with what we have on ground, anyone who sees this film will be blown away”.
