Game of Thrones Bosses Apologize for Hodor
The executive producers of Game of Thrones, DB Weiss and David Benioff have apologized to fans for the last episode where half Giant character, Hodor was killed.
The co-creators and showrunners of the HBO fantasy drama apologized to fans for the first time ever on Jimmy Kimmel Live. And no, they're not sorry for killing off Hodor (Kristian Nairn). After all, they've killed off dozens of fan-favorite characters.
No, they're sorry for all the dumb jokes that you will be plagued with since Hodor's origin story reveal and subsequent death.
"We'd like to apologize for Sunday's episode," Weiss said in the Jimmy Kimmel Live
"Not for killing Hodor," Benioff said. "We kill a lot of main characters."
"We've killed 739 main characters so far," Weiss said, surrounded by money.
"We're sorry for all the idiots, who, from now on will be shouting ‘Hodor!' every time you go through a door," Benioff said.
"We forgot how annoying people can be," Weiss said. "That's our bad."
"We should've seen that coming," Benioff sighed.
