Sporadic Gunshots Disrupts Rapper T.I's Concert in New York

At least four people were shot at a American rapper, T.I concert in New York on Wednesday night, multiple reports have confirmed.

One victim is believed to have suffered a fatal shot at the Irving Plaza, while eyewitnesses have told Billboard a man was taken away for emergency treatment in an ambulance while a woman was seen on a stretcher with what looked like a leg wound.

A fourth victim is believed to have gone to a local hospital. The incident reportedly occurred at 10pm.

Footage from inside the 1000-person capacity venue shows concert goers cowering in fear as they tried to run for the exits following the gun shots.

An eyewitness has claimed that they saw people arguing in the VIP section and people started to run after hearing gunshots.

Talking to reporters outside the venue, a concert-goer said that she fell in the scramble for safety.

“I was terrified. Everybody was running for their lives,” she said.

No arrests have been made as police search for the shooter.

T.I. has made no comment on social media so far but his representatives have directed all enquiries to the police.
